Kate Knox, American, b. 1972, Dover, New Hampshire, kate-knox.com BFA in painting and printmaking from the New England College Institute of Art and Design in 2015, summa cum laude. Knox recieved the Piscataqua Region Artist Advancement Grant 2021. Her mixed media work can be found in many public and private collections and her work has been featured in Art and Cake Magazine, The Cafe Review and Ayris magazines. Artist Statement Employing ancient mediums with contemporary awareness, I pay homage to our American ruins. They are the messengers revealing the truth of our impermanence. What does it mean to transcend your history?
